Knee Surgery Sports Traumatology Arthroscopy、 American Journal of Sports Medicine、 Arthroscopy、The Journal of Arthroscopic and Related Surgery是相关发文量最大的前三家期刊。

Abstract:Objective This study aims to investigate the research trends of the anterolateral ligament (ALL) of the knee and compare the contributions of different regions, tissues, and authors to the literatures. A statistical reference was made. Methods The literatures on ALL were searched through the “Web of Science” database, and the source data were reviewed. The literatures were visualized using Excel and VOS-viewer software to analyze the current status and trends of the study. Results A total of 1 125 papers were included, and the United States was the country with the highest number of published ALL-related papers (429, accounting for 38.1%), while China ranked the second(103, accounting for 9.2%) and Germany ranked the third(92, accounting for 8.2%). The institution with the highest number of published articles has the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania System of Higher Education, with a total of 44 articles. Robert F LaPrade, Bertrand Sonnery-Cottet, and Camilo Partezani Helito were the top three authors with the highest number of articles published in the relevant field. Knee Surgery Sports Traumatology Arthroscopy, American Journal of Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy, The Journal of Arthroscopic and Related Surgery were the three journals with the most relevant text. Coupling analysis showed that the United States, the United Kingdom, and France had the most extensive cooperation in the field of ALL. The Schedman Phillips Institute and the University of Pittsburgh were the institutions with the strongest cooperation capabilities. Conclusions Global trend analysis suggests that ALL research is gradually deepening and the number of articles posted continues to increase. Basing from bibliometric analysis, we can understand the current situation and future development trend in ALL research. Quantitative data indicators can provide certain theoretical guidance for the clinical practice and academic research of domestic scholars.
