| Abstract: | Corynebacterium amycolatum has not been reported as a cause of human infections up to now, but usually the bacterium is misidentified in clinical specimens as Corynebacterium xerosis. We report the first case of neonatal sepsis due to Corynebacterium amycolatum with a fatal outcome in a premature infant. |
