Mycoplasma gallisepticum in culture with biosilon microcarrier beads. |

| Abstract: | Various dilutions of Mycoplasma gallisepticum were cultured in the presence of Biosilon microcarrier beads. The microcarriers did not affect the recoverability or the growth rate of M. gallisepticum. Cultures attained a higher density in the presence of microcarriers. The initiation of a culture could be accomplished by the transfer of one bead from a microcarrier culture. |
