| Abstract: | PVI is the cornerstone of atrial fibrillation catheter ablation,Cryoballoon is specially designed for the anatomy of pulmonary veins. The effecacy and safety of PVI using Cryoballoon catheter have been proved by clincal studies. Both China and foreign guidelines have adopted Cryoballoon ablation as the standard therapy for PVI in atrial fibrillation patients.Cryoballoon ablation has several advantage:durable PVI,high safety,simple operation,good patient feeling,short learning curve,etc. Therefore,the past ten years,it has been widely applied in clinic rapidly. With the innovation of technology and deepening of clinical research,Cryoballoon ablation is also expanding. This paper discusses the Cryoballoon ablation and application progress. |
