| Abstract: | A comparison between sodium polyanetholsulfonate and sodium amylosulfate in unvented vacuum blood culture bottles containing tryptic soy broth was made with 5,800 sets of blood cultures. No statistically significant differences in isolation rates of bacteria were noted. |
