Abstract: | We report a case of early onset schizophrenia that responded favourably to paliperidone but experienced hyperprolactinaemia, tremors, and weight gain, with impaired fasting glycaemia. Addition of bromocriptine helped with both hyperprolactinaemia and tremors, but also brought about euglycaemia and, strikingly, ameliorated negative symptoms. |
