Abstract:Objective To analyze the correlation of endothelial cell damage and abnormal coagulation in Diabetic retinopathy.Methods A total of 89 diabetes were enrolled.According to fluorescein angiography,all subjects were divided into normal(NDR,n=30),background retinopathy(BDR,n=32) and proliferative retinopathy(PDR,n=27);32 healthy controls came from healthy volunteers.The levels of plasma von Willebrand factor(vWF) and lipoprotein(a) were measured by ELISA and compared in different groups.Results ①The levels of vWF and lipoprotein(a) were elevated in patients with diabetes compared with control subjects,and these indicators were increased gradually with the deterioration of retinopathy(P0.01).② Plasma levels of vWF were related to concentrations of HbA1c,FPG,CHO,TG,fibrinogen and duration of disease(r value equals to 0.568,0.348,0.589,0.307,0.873 and 0.327 respectively,P0.01).③ Serum levels of Lp(a) were related to concentrations of vWF,CHO,LDL-C,fibrinogen and duration of disease(r value equals to 0.669,0.561,0.392,0.555 and 0.277 respectively,P0.01).Conclusion ①vWF and Lp(a) concentrations are closely related to the severity of diabetic retinopathy,and these two non-invasive indicators may be considered as a predictor of diabetes microvascular complications.②Endothelial cell injury and coagulation abnormalities may be involved in the progression of diabetic retinopathy.
