西宁地区老年人多器官功能衰竭的特点及治疗

目的 :探讨西宁地区老年人多器官功能衰竭 (MOF)的特点及治疗。方法 :分析 1998年元月至 2 0 0 2年 12月 4年间 30例老年人MOF的特点及治疗 ,与同期的 36例青中年MOF进行比较。结果 :与青中年相比 ,老年人MOF的病死率较高 (P <0 .0 5 ) ,导致MOF的病因 ,老年人主要是严重感染 ,占 70 % ,青中年人仅为 2 5 % ,两者相比差别有显著性 (P <0 .0 0 5 )。青中年MOF主要由严重创伤导致 ,占 4 7.2 % ,老年人仅为 10 % ,(P <0 .0 0 5 ) ;老年人发生脏器衰竭数目 :2个脏器 9例 (30 % )、3个脏器 9例 (30 % )、4个脏器 6例 (2 0 % )、5个以上脏器 6例 (2 0 % ) ,青年人分别为 16例 (4 4.4 % )、12例 (33.3% )、5例 (13.9% )、3例 (8.3% )。结论 :在西宁地区老年人MOF主要由严重感染导致 ,脏器衰竭数目多、病死率高 ,有效的抗感染、早期氧疗是治疗和预防MOF的关键

Characterastics and Treatment of MOF in Aging in Xining

Objective: To explore characteristics and treatment of multi-organs failure in aging in Xining. Methods: The clinical data of 30 patients, who suffer from the MOF, from Jan. 1998 to Dec.2002 in our hospital were reviewed, and the results were compared with the 36 young patients with MOF. Results: The dead rate and the numbers of failure organs were higher in aging group than that in young group, especially in the severe trauma and infection resulted in dead.Conclusions: The reason result from the MOF in aging is mainly the severe infection and a numbers of failure organs in Xining.
