Bibliometric analysis on the application of automated dispensing cabinets in medical unit

Abstract:Objective Analyze the research frontiers and hotspots of automated dispensing cabinets(ADCs),discuss the current research status,hotspots and future trends of smart medicine cabinets,and provide references for further research.Methods The CNKI and PubMed databases were searched to obtain Chinese and English documents related to the application of ADCs in medical units that were published from January 1,2010 to June 30,2020,sort out relevant literature by literature research method,count literature sources,literature years,countries and regions,and cluster analyze author distribution,literature statistics and discipline distribution through visual analysis software VOSviewer.Results A total of 112 articles,47 in Chinese and 65 in English,were retrieved from database.The research contents mainly focused on drug management,drug safety,process optimization and work efficiency improvement.Conclusion Compared with foreign countries,the research method of ADCs in China is a little single;researchers can study the cost-benefit assessment of equipment input and output and the allocation ratio between people and ADCs from the perspective of economics;medical institutions learn from the method of regularly updating operation specifications by ISMP,which is helpful to improve the standardized operation of ADCs and improve the standardized use of ADCs.
