摘    要:随着基因工程技术的不断发展和成熟,通过遗传学途径筛选新抗生素和新活性物质的方法不断出现.本文综述了采用基因工程手段激活沉默基因以开发新型抗生素和活性物质的发展动态.较为具体的介绍了两个采用此种方法取得成功的实例,为今后的科研工作提供参考.

Abstract:With the progress on genetic engineering, many new ways in searching for new antibiotics and other bio-active compounds through genetic modification have been created. In this review, the current progress on identification of the new antibiotics through silent gene activation was elucidated and the successful development of two antibiotics, MM2002 (angucyclines) and notinorhodin using the silent gene activation technique, was discussed in detail.
