| Abstract: | A retrospective study of 150 ultrasonography and computerized tomography (CT) results of hepatic metastases was performed, that the merit and unmerit of these two kinds of diagnostic modality were compared, Ultrasound examination is more sensitive than CT for finding out metastatic tumors. Yet CT is superior in checking the area invaded by tumors. These two methods should be used complementarily. Since ultrasonic examination is easily available and not expansive, it should be chosen as the primary choice for detecting metastatic tumors. |
