摘    要:目的:探索5年制预防医学本科生流行病学双语教学行之有效的教学模式,为提高教学质量及学生专业英语水平提供依据。方法:将2003级76名预防医学本科生随机分成4组,各组随机采用不同的教学模式讲授同一理论内容各2学时。授课结束后立即采用相同的试卷对专业知识进行测试,比较各组成绩的差别。结果:四种教学模式间除总成绩略有差异外(P=0.0423),其余各题型均无显著性差异(P〉0.05),并且A、B、C三种双语教学模式与全中文教学模式在教学效果上也无显著性差别(P〉0.05)。结论:四种教学模式的教学效果无显著差别,今后可根据教师自身特点及学生喜好来选择不同的双语教学模式。

Exploration and practice on bilingual teaching mode of epidemiology for five-year program preventive medical undergraduates

Abstract:Objective : To explore the effective bilingual teaching mode of epidemiology for the 5-year program undergraduates who major in preventive medicine, so as to improve the quality of teaching and English proficiency of the students. Methods: Seventy-six students, who entered the collage in 2003, were randomly divided into four groups, and the teacher lectured the same theory to each group by means of different teaching mode for 2 teaching hours randomly. Then the same test was made among these students right after the lecture to compare the difference between results of each group. Results: The test scores of all questions had no significant differences among the four groups ( P 〉 0.05), except for the total score, which had slight difference ( P = 0.0423). And the teaching effects of the A, B, C three types of bilingual education model were not significantly different from that of the entire Chinese teaching mode ( P 〉 0.05). Conclusions : The four teaching modes have no significant difference in teaching effect. The choice of the mode should be made in accordance with the characteristics of teachers and the preferences of students.
