摘    要:案例是“以问题为基础学习”教学方法的材料和基础,是该教学方法能否实现其教学目标的关键。在北京大学基础医学院“新途径”教育教学改革中,就10个器官系统、3个重要方向构建了案例库,保障了基础医学院教学改革的顺利实施。

Design and construction of cases for problem-based learning in School of Basic Medical Sciences at Peking University

Abstract:The goals of PBL are to help the students develop flexible knowledge, effective problem solving skills, self-directed learning, effective collaboration skills and intrinsic motivation. PBL has been adopted in the new curriculum for 8-year program medical students in School of Basic Medical Sciences at Peking University. The teaching materials or cases were specifically designed for learning basic medical knowledge and disease mechanisms involved in all human systems and three additional major healthcare areas, which has ensured the successful implementation of PBL as an essential component of the reformed basic medical education system.
