Eight China leading medical schools cooperated with IIME and all of the 6th grade year 7-year program students participated the assessment of GMER through multiple-choice questions, objective structured clinical examination and observation. Results and feedback were provided to all of the 8 schools, showing some areas that is strength, borderline or needing improvement. Experiences of the experiment implementation will benefit the revision of GMER and the spreading of GMER in the world.
