Research of relationship between the renal dysfunction and the cardiovascular events

Objective: To explore the relationship between the renal dysfunction and the cardiovascular events.Methods: The 365 patients were divided into three groups that included 145 hypertensive,124 coronary heart disease(CHD) and 96 hypertension with diabetes mellitus(DM) patients.The renal function and the cardiovascular events in the three groups were examined and compared.Results: ①The prevalence of the renal dysfunction were 18.62%,15.32% and 29.17% in the hypertensive,CHD and hypertension with DM groups,respectively,the prevalence of the late group was much higher than that of the two former groups(P<0.01).The mean level of the UAE and creatinine were also higher significantly in the hypertension with DM group than that of the hypertensive and CHD groups(P<0.01).②The prevalence of the cardiovascular events was 83.78% in the renal dysfunction group and 26.80% in the normal renal function group,the difference was significant between the two groups(P<0.01),in which the heart failure,left ventricular hypertrophy,ischemic ST-T changes were more common.The prevalence of renal dysfunction in female was 34.0%,much higher than that of the male patient(23.91%) in the hypertension with DM group(P<0.01).Conclusion: Renal dysfunction,is related to hypertension and DM.Cardiovascular events are closely related to renal dysfunction cardiovascular events.They affect each other.
