| 摘 要： | <正> After resection, 29 patients with cancer of the large intestine were treated with swine spleen transfer factor (STF) for three months. Lymphocytes, subtypes of T lymphocytes, the levels of IL-2 , IFN, PHA and E-rosette formation rate were compared between patients with cancer of the large intestine and the normal ones, as well as patients pre- and post-treated with STF.The results indicated that lymphocytes,OKT3 + , OKT4 + ,OKT8+,NHK-1 + and the levels of IL-2 , IFN, PHA positive transformation rate, E (Et, Ea) -rosette formation rate, etc., were markedly elevated following the use of STF. It was suggested that STF may lead the patient suffering from carcinoma to have the immune functions increased or even restored, and thus be beneficial during chemotherapy .That IFN increased doubly after therapy showed that STF is not only a kind of mitogen, but also an excellent inducing agent of IFN.
