Effect of gastric vagus nerve on postoperative nutrition and survival in patients with gastric vagus nerve

Objective: To study the effect of the radical operation on the nutritional status and the survival of patients with gastric vagus nerve distal gastrectomy. Methods: 97 cases of gastric cancer patients in our hospital, were randomly divided into the observation group of 50 cases, 47 cases in the control group, the control group underwent conventional distal gastrectomy and radical operation on preserving distal gastric cancer gastric vagal nerve group, compared two groups of related indicators, postoperative recovery, nutrition status, life the quality and survival situation. Results: the amount of bleeding in two groups of patients with operative time, and the average lymph nodes showed no significant difference (P>0.05). In the observation group, the first exhaust time, postoperative hospital stay and incidence of complications were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The levels of albumin, pre albumin and BMI were decreased in the two groups after operation(P<0.05). The levels of albumin, pre albumin and BMI in control group were significantly lower than those in the observation group (P<0.05). After 1 months, 3 months and 6 months after operation, the scores of quality of life in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). Patients in the observation group were significantly better than the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: reservation can effectively promote the postoperative recovery of gastrointestinal function after radical resection of gastric vagal nerve distal gastric cancer, reduce the incidence of postoperative complications, and is helpful to improve the postoperative nutritional status of patients and improve the quality of life, and can improve the survival of patients, is worthy of clinical application.
