唐宗海《血证论》运用经方之经验

Experiences of TANG Zong -hai in the Classic Formula Application in Treaties on Blood Disorder

Treaties on Blood Disorder is the first extant specific work on blood disorder, written by TANG Zong - hai. It gives the detailed, complete and clear statements on the mechanism and clinical diagno- sis and treatment of blood disorder. The academic thinking had been implanted in the classics of Traditional Chinese medicine. He believed that blood disorder gave the birth of classic formulas, in which Xiaochaihu De- coction was the most important. Learning the meaning of classic formula was more important than remembe- ring the simple composition of it. The modification of herbs was essential. He supplemented the clinical treat- ment for blood disorder. TANG was good at using the classic formulas of the predecessors, especially the for- mulas in ZHANG Zhong- jing＇s Treaties on Febrile and Miscellaneous Diseases. His understanding and ap- plication of the classic formulas had been displayed in every aspect of the treatment of blood disorder, such as theory, principle, method and medicine and he had formed his unique characters in the application of the clas- sic formulas. His formulas were precise and appropriate in compatibility and flexible in application, and had been validated fully in long - term medical practice. Hence, his experiences are worth learning from.
