海南胡椒提取物的急性毒性研究

目的:为了对胡椒提取物进行新药开发,为其进一步的药物研究提供依据,利用海南胡椒乙醇提取物进行急性毒性实验,以确定海南胡椒的安全性。方法:将海南胡椒乙醇提取物胡椒碱,通过对小鼠空腹经口灌胃,观察小鼠出现的毒性反应,测定半数致死剂量(LD50)。结果:大剂量灌胃后连续观察7 d,小鼠肝功能发生异常,且出现死亡,得出胡椒碱的LD50为0.4165 mg.kg-1。结论:胡椒碱在大剂量应用时具有一定的毒性,在进行药用开发时应考虑其安全性。

Study on the acute toxicity of Hainan pepper extraction

Objective: To explore the safety of Hainan pepper,with the intention to develop new drug from pepper extraction and find evidence for further research of medicine.Methods: The ethyl alcohol extraction piperine of Hainan pepper was filled into the stomach of mouse through the mouth and observed the toxic reaction,determined the median lethal doses(LD50).Results: The LD50 was 0.416 5 mg.kg-1 according to the experiment that the liver function of the mice impaired and some mice died after filled the stomach with large dose of piperine 7days.Conclusion: Piperine has certain toxicity in large dose;developing new drug from pepper extraction should consider its security.
