| Abstract: | 20 cases of MRI-diagnosed multiple cerebral mini-intarcts(lacunar state,7 cases;Binswanger'disease,8 cases;unclassified,5 cases)were studied with TCD.The fol-lowing results were found:normal cerebral blood flow velocity(CBFV),6 cases;red-uced vertebro-basilar system CBFV, 5 cases;CBFV reduced generally,3 cases;increasedCBFV in individual cerebral artery,5 cases;CBFV increased generally,1 case It wagpresumed that abnormal vasomotor changes invisible on MRI could be monitored withTCD to follow up the disease course and evlauate the therapeutic effect of medicalintervention. |
