| Abstract: | Some anesthetic experiences of thirty-one patients,undergoing posterior fossa surgery with general anesthesia,in the sitting position were reported.Air embolism is the gravest hazard with neurosurgical opeartion in the sitting position.Another hazard is the posture hypotension.The prophylactic treat- ment of air embolism and preventive measures of posture hypotension were men- tioned in this paper. |
