髌骨软化症中西医治疗进展

髌骨软化症是一种髌骨软骨退行性病变,西医治疗早中期主要提倡保守治疗,包括关节腔内注射玻璃酸钠、口服硫酸氨基葡萄糖、非甾体类抗炎药等;晚期建议手术治疗,均有一定效果及毒副作用.中医认为本病多因伤后气血不足,瘀血阻滞风寒湿邪侵袭,或因年老体弱,肝肾亏虚,气血亏虚,卫外不固,不能濡润关节,风寒湿邪乘虚而入而发病,治疗主要有中药内服、外敷、熏洗、针灸、推拿等法,急则治其标,缓则治其本,因人制宜,标本兼顾.中西医结合治疗可取长补短.

Traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine in the treatment of chondromalacia patella

Patella osteomalacia is one kind diseqse of patella cartilage degeneration. Western medical treatment in the early and middle stage mostly advocates conservative treatment, includes intra-articular injection of sodium hyaluronate, oral sulfate amino glucose, non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, etc. in the late stage always recommend surgical treatment, all the treatments have certain effect and toxic side effect. Traditional Chinese medicine thinks that the disease is due to lack of blood after injury, blood stasis, the wind cold dampness evil invasion, or because of old and weak, deficiency of liver and kidney, deficiency of qi and blood, weakened defensive of qi, cannot moisten joint, wind cold and dampness take advantage of a weak point to lead to disease. The main TCM treatment contains traditional Chinese medicine, topical, fumigation, acupuncture, massage and other methods. We advocate if the disease' s condition is more severe we should treat its most serious symptoms at first, if the condition is light we should treat it from the root. Chose measures to different persons, take care of both tip and root. Treatment can complement each other with combination of TCM and Western medicine.
