Therapentic Effect of Sanqi Tongshu Capsule on Diabetic Patients with Peripheral Neuropathy

Objective:To evaluate the effect of Sanqi Tongshu Capsule on the patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN).Methods: 80 patients with DPN were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group.40 patients in the control group were treated with the routine therapy,40 patients in the experimental group were treated with Sanqi Tongshu Capsule 0.2g tid for 30 days.Before and after the treatment,nerve conduction velocity(NCV)and hemorrheology were tested.Results:The level of hemorrheology and fibrinogen was decreased significantly,NCV increased greatly in the 80 patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy,the total effective rate was 87.5% in experimental group and 67.5% in control group,there was a significant difference between two groups(P<0.01).Conclusion: Sanqi Tongshu Capsule is effective in improving the clinic symptoms of DPN patients.
