CDK-5在神经系统变性疾病的研究进展

摘    要:细胞周期依赖性蛋白激酶5(CDK-5)是一种特殊的细胞周期依赖性激酶家族成员,它既不受细胞周期素调节,也不调节细胞周期,而是受非细胞周期蛋白p35和p39的调节。研究表明CDK-5可调节多种底物,对中枢神经系统的发育起重要作用。然而,CDK-5激酶活性异常升高会导致一些神经变性疾病的发生,因此,CDK-5活性的调节可能成为治疗神经变性疾病的靶点,现就其与神经变性疾病的关系进行综述。

Abstract:Cyclin-dependent kinase-5(CDK5)is an unsual member of a cyclin-dependent kinase family,which could neither be activated by cyclins nor be involved in the cell cycle regulation.but is modulated by non-cyclin activators p35 and 39.Studies revealed CDK5 can modulate many substrates and play an important role in nervous system development,though the increase of CDK5 kinase activity may lead to occurrence of neurodegenerative disease.Therefore,the modulation of CDK5 activity may be a potential target in the treatment of the neurodegeneration disease,and here is to make a review on its correlation with neurodegenerative disease.
