| Abstract: | A speedy fluorometric assay is described for determination of lipoperoxides in human serum. We propose simple modifications to standard fluorometric assay, to avoid long and tedious manipulations by eliminating the first precipitation and washing steps, the best experiment conditions can be obtained by orthogonal test of multiple factors. Reproducibility of the assay method was excellent for the double serum sample and the coefficient of variance was 5.8% and 3.16% respectively.The fluorescent response was linear up to 0.4ml serum and recovery of method was from 80% to 115%. |
