摘    要:DNA甲基化是基因表达调控中一种常见而又重要的机制,参与细胞分化与增殖、生物体老化、肿瘤发生等多种重要生命活动。文章简要叙述了DNA甲基化异常的病理学意义,分类介绍了目前主要的甲基化检测方法。希望对相关领域的研究有所助益。

Abstract:DNA methylation plays a variety of crucial roles in cell division and proliferation, development and aging of life, development of genetic diseases related to uniparental disomy, and carcinogenesis. As one of the major epigenetic mechanisms, DNA emthylation analysis has been one of the focuses in the post-genomic era. This paper briefly introduced the biological impacts of DNA methylation and discussed the currently available DNA methylation-related assays in more detail. In addition to the analysis of DNA methylation level of individual gene, a global methylation level is expected to be a routine index in individualized medicine in evaluating cancer susceptibility and aging status in the near future.
