| Abstract: | Objective：By studying the performance of MRI of meningiomas,the correlation between the peritumoral edema and location of meningiomas was analyzed.Material and Methods： A retrospective study of 106 intracranial meningioma patients who underwent surgical removal of the tumor was performed.The tumor location,size,the PTBE size,edema index（EI=（Vedema＋Vtumor） /Vtumor） and the PTBE shape were determined by MRI.The SPSS 13.0 were performed to evaluate the PTBE and edema index.Results： Facies convexa cerebri,frontobasal and parasagittal meningiomas showed a significant increase in the edema incidence.Edema index of facies convexa cerebri and parasagittal meningiomas showed no significant increase.The shape of PTBE of meningiomas in different parts is not significant different.Conclusion： The PTBE and EI of meningiomas in different parts are different.The shape of PTBE of meningiomas in different parts is not significant different. |
