混苯作业对工人健康及行为功能的影响

对110名混苯作业工人和67名对照组工人的调查发现,苯和甲苯均超标的作业环境对工人的神经精神和造血系统产生明显的不良影响。接触组工人的神经衰弱综合征、个性改变、咽喉干燥、皮肤感觉异常、面色异常等发生率明显高于对照组;红细胞、血红蛋白和白细胞均明显低于对照组,其数值与接触浓度均呈明显的负相关;另外还发现在白细胞尚未发生改变的工人中,操作行为功能试验已有明显改变,提示操作行为功能试验可以作为混苯中毒早期诊断的一个辅助指标。

EFFECT OF BENZENE MIXTURE ON HEALTH AND BEHAVIORAL OF WORKERS

110 workers occupationally exposed to benzene mixture were studied and compared with a reference group of 67 unexposed workers.The concentration of the benzene and toluence were above the present hygienic stan- dards in the work environment.Apparent adverse effects on the neuropsychiatrnic system and hematopietic sys- tem of the exposed workers were found.It was noted that the prevalencas of the neurasthenic syndrome,perso- nality alteration,dried throat,paresthesiae,a poor complexion were much higher among workers exposed to be- zene mixture.The mean of erythrocyte,hemaglobin,leucocyte was found to be lower than that of the reference group.There was a statisically significant negative correlation beween the concentrations of benzene mixture and the values of erythrocyte,hemaglobin and leucocyte. Abnormality in the behavioral performance tests occurred among the exposed workers before leucopenia developed suggest of that behavioral performance tests may serve as an early sign of benzene mixture intoxica- tion.
