| Abstract: | Ten cases with Hashitoxicosis arereported (7 operated, 3 without opera-tion). Eight cases showed evidence ofHashimoto's thyroiditis, associate withmarked epithelial hyperplasia in five.Five cases in the follow-up developedhypothyroidism, and four of the fivewere secondary to surgery. The clinicalfeatures of Hashitoxicosis, the princplesof therapy and its outcome are discussedwith emphasis on its difference fromprimary thyrotoxicosis. |
