医科院校外科学双语教学初探

为贯彻教育部《关于加强高等院校本科教学工作、提高教学质量的若干意见》,我们选择英语听说读写能力相对较强的七年制本硕连读学员进行了外科学汉英双语教学试点,取得了以下体会:①要转变教学观念;②教员自身素质要过硬;③选择合适的教材;④采取适当的教学方式。上述经验是适合我国当前国情的教学方法,有利于提高学员的英语应用能力,培养适应国际化竞争的高素质医学人才。

Initial Approach of Bilingual Teaching in Surgery within Medical Colleges and Universities

To carry out the proposal of ministry of education about strengthening teaching and improving teaching quality in colleges and universities,we selected 7-year master students,who have a better ability in English listening and speaking,to try a Chinese-English bilingual teaching in surgery.We gained the experience as follows: 1.Teaching concept needs changing.2.Quality of teacher needs to be increased.3.Teaching material must be suitable.4.Teaching mode must be appropriate.This experience might be helpful for us to find a new teaching method fitting the condition of our country now,and improve student's ability in using English,then culture more and more high-quality medical elite for international competition.
