神经肌肉电刺激治疗周围性面瘫的疗效

目的：观察神经肌肉电刺激治疗周围性面瘫的疗效。方法：分析2008年10月至2010年10月广州医学院第二附属医院收治的97例周围性面瘫患者的临床资料，按随机数字表法将患者分成电刺激组（50例）和对照组（47例），电刺激组在常规物理治疗的基础上加用神经肌肉电刺激治疗；对照组采用常规物理治疗。在治疗前和治疗后7、14、21d运用多伦多分级评分法（TFGS）量化评定患者面神经功能恢复情况。结果：两组患者治疗前TFGS综合评分比较，差异无统计学意义（P〉0．05）；两组患者治疗后TFGS综合评分均较治疗前升高（P〈0．05）。与对照组比较，电刺激组患者治疗后7、14、21d综合TFGS评分明显升高（P〈0．05）。结论：神经肌肉电刺激较常规物理疗法能明显促进面瘫肌肉运动功能的恢复，减少周围性面瘫后遗症。

Effect of neuromuscular electrical stimulation on peripheral facial paralysis

Objective： To observe the therapeutic effects of neuromuscular electrical stimulation in the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis （PFP）. Methods： From October 2008 through October 2010, 97 PFP patients were randomly assigned into two groups in our department. Group A were treated with neuromuscular electrical stimulation and group B with conventional physical therapy. Toronto Facial Grading System （TFGS） was used to evaluate functional recovery of the facial nerves pre-treatment and at 7, 14 and 21 days post-treatment in all patients. Results：There were no significant differences regarding pre-treatment TFGS scores between the 2 groups （ P 〉 0.05 ）. All the patients had significantly higher TFGS scores post-treatment （ P 〈 0.05 ）. The TFGS scores at 7, 14 and 21 days post-treatment were significantly higher in group A than in group B （P 〈 0.05）. Conclusion ： Neuromuscular electrical stimulation may be significantly better than conventional physical therapy in treatment of patients with oeriDheral facial naralvsis.
