骨肉瘤微血管密度与血管内皮生长因子表达的关系

目的 研究骨肉瘤微血管密度（MVD）与血管内皮细胞生长因子（VEGF）的表达是否具有相关性。方法 对33例骨肉瘤组织标本应用CD34单克隆抗体标记血管内皮细胞。计数骨肉瘤MVD;用VEGF多克隆抗体检测肿瘤细胞浆中VEGF的表达情况。结果 （1）骨肉瘤MVD与VEGF表达程度呈正相关,VEGF高表达组的MVD平均值明显高于VEGF低表达组;（2）骨肉瘤中VEGF的表达和MVD与骨肉瘤组织病理分级无关。结论 VEGF是骨肉瘤血管形成的一种重要调节因子。

Relationship between vascular endothelial growth factor expression and angiogenesis in osteosarcoma

Objective To determine the relationship between angiogenesis and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)expression in osteosarcoma.Methods The expression of VEGF was evaluated by im-munohistochemical staining of tumor specimens from33patients with osteosarcoma.The microvessel density was assessed by immunostaining with CD34in the most neovascularized area(hot spots).Re -sults In osteosarcoma,the mean microvessel count of VEGF strong-expression tumors was signi fic antly higher than that of VEGF low-expression tumors(Wilcoxon rank sum test,P<0.05).The close corre la-tion was found between VEGF expression and microvesel density.In contrast,no assoc iation was found between Price' s grade of osteosarcoma and VEGF expression,as well as microvessel density.Conclusion These observations suggest that VEGF is an important angiogenic factor in osteosarcoma.
