骨肉瘤微血管密度与血管内皮生长因子表达的关系

摘    要:目的 研究骨肉瘤微血管密度(MVD)与血管内皮细胞生长因子(VEGF)的表达是否具有相关性。方法 对33例骨肉瘤组织标本应用CD34单克隆抗体标记血管内皮细胞。计数骨肉瘤MVD;用VEGF多克隆抗体检测肿瘤细胞浆中VEGF的表达情况。结果 (1)骨肉瘤MVD与VEGF表达程度呈正相关,VEGF高表达组的MVD平均值明显高于VEGF低表达组;(2)骨肉瘤中VEGF的表达和MVD与骨肉瘤组织病理分级无关。结论 VEGF是骨肉瘤血管形成的一种重要调节因子。

Abstract:Objective To determine the relationship between angiogenesis and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)expression in osteosarcoma.Methods The expression of VEGF was evaluated by im-munohistochemical staining of tumor specimens from33patients with osteosarcoma.The microvessel density was assessed by immunostaining with CD34in the most neovascularized area(hot spots).Re -sults In osteosarcoma,the mean microvessel count of VEGF strong-expression tumors was signi fic antly higher than that of VEGF low-expression tumors(Wilcoxon rank sum test,P<0.05).The close corre la-tion was found between VEGF expression and microvesel density.In contrast,no assoc iation was found between Price' s grade of osteosarcoma and VEGF expression,as well as microvessel density.Conclusion These observations suggest that VEGF is an important angiogenic factor in osteosarcoma.
