医学教育必须面向农村培养卫生人才

本文从贯彻“三个代表”重要思想、构建社会主义和谐社会、建设社会主义新农村、医学教育的自身发展等方面阐述了医学教育面向农村的重要性和必要性。为此，要构建多层次农村医学教育体系；加强农村在职医务人员的培训和继续教育；改革医学教育的专业设置、课程体系和教学内容。

Medical education must attach importance to training of qualified health professionals for the rural ageas

Based on the consideration of implementing important thought of three representatives,developing harmonious society and promoting construction of new socialist countryside,this paper emphasizes the importance of medical education on training rural health professionals.The authors tllink that a rural medical educational system with multiple level programs should be developed;In-post training and continuing education for rural health workers should be strengthened;Curriculum and teaching contents of rural medical program have to be reformed accordingly.
