This article discussed about the possibility as well as the influence of the establishment of liberal arts majors in sinle-subject medical universities.As a result of the needs for social development and development of school itself,and encouragement from national policies also,sinle-subject medical universities attempted to build liberal arts majors,which were mainly concerned with medical humanities.This set of majors not only cultivated people with special skills,and promoted the developments of the subjects of sinle-subject medical humanities,but also improved the atmosphere of medical universities,while it played an essential and active role in nurturing medical talents with comprehensive quality.
