Abstract:Objective: To analyze heterosexual and homosexual related behaviors and to find out their influencing'factors among medical college students. Methods: A questionnaire was used to investigate 2757 students about their heterosexual and homosexual related behaviors, multi- nomial logistic analysis was applied. Results: Corresponding, 15.4% ,45.3% and 19.6% ,41.6% ,2.8% and 0.0% ,20.6% ,6.0% and 5. 8% ,and 9.0% ,0.5% and 0.5% reported that they hugged, kissed, touched bodies and had sexual intercourse with their friends with different, both different and same, and same sex. Hugging was influenced by gender, family location, grade, university location and in love (P 〈 0.01 ) , kissing was influenced by family location, grade, university location, mothers education, monthly expenditure and in love (P 〈 0.05 ) , touching was influenced by gender, age, university location, monthly expenditure and in love( P 〈 0. 01 ) , having sexual intercourse was influenced by gender, grade, mothers'education, monthly expenditure, university location, and in love ( P 〈 0.05 ). Conclusion: Heterosexual related behaviors happen more among people who are male, living in open society, with high monthly expenditure, in love and with old age than among who are the opposites. Bisexual and homosexual related behaviors are not influenced by social inclusion, economic statuses, and whether in love or not, and the partners might be casual or commercial. Bisexual populations among medical college students are probably the "bridge populations" who transmit HIV from homosexual populations to heterosexual populations.
Keywords:Medical college student  Sexual related behavior  Influencing factor
