Analysis of the Effect of Nursing Intervention of Traditional Chinese Medicine on High-risk Patients with Diabetic Foot

Objective To study the effect of nursing intervention of traditional Chinese medicine on high-risk patients with diabetic foot.Methods 160 patients with diabetic foot who were admitted to our hospital from January 2018 to December 2019 were selected as the research object.They were divided into control group and observation group according to different nursing programs,80 cases each.The control group received routine nursing programs,and the observation group received TCM nursing intervention.The blood glucose indexes,the degree and incidence of diabetic foot,the related knowledge and nursing satisfaction of the two groups of patients before and after nursing were observed.Results There was no significant difference in fasting blood glucose(FBG)and two-hour postprandial blood glucose(PBG)levels between the two groups before nursing(P>0.05);the levels of FBG and PBG in the observation group after nursing were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05);The degree of diabetic foot and the incidence of diabetic foot in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05);The observation group’s disease knowledge mastery,subjective symptoms,lifestyle habits and foot care knowledge mastery score were higher than the control group(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of TCM nursing intervention for patients with high risk of diabetic foot is particularly significant.It can effectively improve the patient’s blood sugar index,reduce the incidence of diabetic foot,and promote the improvement of nursing satisfaction and quality of life.
