Protective Effective of
Paeonol on Artery Endothelial Cells of the Hyperlipidaemia Rats |

Abstract: | Objective:To study the protective effect of Paeonol(Pae)on arteryendothelial cells of the hyperlipidaemia rats.Methods:The rat model of hyperlipidaemia was established by feeding high lipid diet with cholesterol in rats for 6 weeks.The contents of nitric oxide(NO)was examined with nitric acid reductase method.Radioimmunoassay was used to detect the levels of Endothelin(ET),Prostacyline(PGI2)and Thromboxane A(TXA2).Results:After Pae(300、150mg/kg-1)was taken by oral administration for 6 weeks,NO in serum of the hyperlipiddaemia rats could be elevated distinctly.Pae(150mg.kg-1)could evidently reduce the levels ET in plasm.Pae(300mg.kg-1)could remarkly increase the contents of PGI2.Conclusion:Pae had the effects of increasing NO,PGI2 and decreasing ET,which was of benefit to protect artery endothelial cells function of the hyperlipiddaemia rats and inhibit the formation and development of atherosclerosis |
