Study on the Mechanism of Effective Active Ingredients of Huangqi on Liver Fibrosis

The active ingredients of Huangqi(Radix Astragali)can improve and slow down the process of liver fibrosis through antioxidative stress,inhibition of transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β)signaling pathway,inhibition of collagen synthesis and activation of hepatic stellate cells.The treatment of liver fibrosis presents the characteristics of multiple directions and levels.In recent years,the research on antiliver fibrosis of Huangqi active ingredients only stays in the animal experimental stage,and the sample size is small,lacks of large sample comparison.In the future,we should study the effect of active Huangqi ingredients on liver fibrosis in clinical practice.
