Forty-Six Cases of Acute Cerebral Infarction Treated with Astragalus and Hirudo Decoction for Removing Thrombus

Objective:To observe the clinical curative effect of Astragalus and Hirudo Decoction for Removing Thrombus on acute cerebral infarction.Methods:A total of 92 patients with acute cerebral infarction were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group,with 46 cases in each group.The control group was treated with routine Western medicine,while the observation group was treated with Astragalus and Hirudo Decoction for Removing Thrombus on the basis of the control group.The clinical efficacy,national institutes of health neurological deficit score(NIHSS),hemorheological indexes,inflammatory factor levels,plasminogen activator inhibitor(PAI),neuron specific enolase(NSE)and tissue plasminogen activator(t-PA)levels before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Results:The effective rate was 82.6%in the control group and 95.7%in the observation group.There was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).After treatment,the NIHSS score,hemorheological indexes,inflammatory factor levels,PAI and NSE levels of the two groups were lower than those of the same group before treatment,and the above indexes of the observation group were lower than those of the control group after treatment,and all the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The level of t-PA in the two groups after treatment was higher than that of the same group before treatment,and the level of t-PA in the observation group after treatment was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Astragalus and Hirudo Decoction for Removing Thrombus in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction can improve hemorheological indexes and neurological function,and reduce the levels of inflammatory factors,PAI,NSE and t-PA.
