Separation and identification of flavonoid glucosides from Elsholtzia blanda (Benth.) Benth.]

Abstract:OBJECTIVE: To study chemical elements of the inflorescence of Elsholtzia blanda produced in the southwest of Yunnan. METHOD: Using chemical techniques and spectroscopic analysis. RESULT: Four flavonoid glucosides from the water extract of E. blanda were isolated and identified as isoastragalin(I), luteolin-7-glucoside(II), luteolin-3'-glucoside(III) and lutelin-7-galactoside(IV). CONCLUSION: All the four flavonoid glucosides were isolated from the plant for the first time.
