制首乌醇提取物预防鹌鹑动脉粥样硬化的研究

本文首次报道应用鹌鹑快速动脉粥样硬化(AS)模型研究制首乌醇提取物预防鹌鹑实验性高脂血症和 Aδ的作用。结果表明制首乌醇提取物能提高血浆中 HDL-C/TC 比值,显著抑制高脂血症鹌鹑的血浆 TC、TG、FC 和 CE 的升高,延缓 AS 的形成和发展。

Effect of Alcoholic Extract of Prepared Radix Polygoni Muitiflori on Preventing Atherosclerosis in Japanese Quail

Male Japanese quails(Coturnix coturnix japonica)were divided into 3 groups and given atherosclerosis- inducing diet containing 1% cholesterol and 20% fat for 6 weeks.Different dosage of alcoholic extract of prepared Radix Polygoni Multiflori was given to different groups at the same time.Plasma HDL-C,TC,FC and TG concentrations were determined,and aortic atheromata were observed after sacrifice of the quails. The results showed that the drug could raise plasma HDL-C/TC ratio,reduce plasma TC,FC,TG levels significantly,inhibit quail hyperlipoidemia,and retard development of atherosclerosis.There was relationship between dosage and effect.The advantage of quail model lies in the short experimental cycle.
