“补肺丸”治疗40例肺气虚病人的临床及实验观察

Treatment for Deficiency of Qi of the Lung with Pills for Replenishing the Lung

This paper reports the results of the clinical observation and laboratory experiment on 40 cases of deficiency of Qi of the lung(DQL)treated with pills for replenishing the lung(PRL)which composed of Radix Astragali,Rhizoma Atractylodis Alba,Radix Ledebouriellae,Radix Codonopsis Pilosulae,and Gecko.After a period of 2(1/2)years treatment,it has demonstrated that the total effective rate of PRL for DQL was 72.5%.55.7% eased chronic cough and 80% spontaneous sweating.85% were prevented from catching common cold.Serum Ig assay in all cases showed that after treatment the serum levels of IgG,IgA,IgM. increased to a certain extent.The difference between prior-and post-treatment was significant(P<0.01). This suggested that PRL may show some effects on regulating or increasing the immune function. Rheopneumography performed in 28 cases showed that after treatment the wave amplitude was raised,the ascending angle enlarged,the in-flow velocity increased.The difference between prior-and post-treatment was significant(P<0.01).This suggested that PRL may reduce the resistance of pulmonary arteriole and improve the perfusion of blood in the lung.
