| Abstract: | Endogenous cough is ascribed to failure of lung qi to purify and ascending counterflow of lung qi. The disperse stagnation and purge heat with bitter-acrid medicinals method is to rejuvenate pulmonary function by the ascending and descending effects of the medicinals. For the treatment of endogenous cough, the compatibility of bitter and acrid medicinals can help the lungs to regulate qi. Professor Zhang Zhiwen is a well-known expert of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) on respiratory diseases, and he proposed a method for the treatment of endogenous cough, which has a significant clinical effect. This research is based on Zhang Zhiwen"s medical cases. Data Mining was used to explore the application law of disperse stagnation and purge heat with bitter-acrid medicinals for treating endogenous cough. Meanwhile, the new ideas and methods for the treatment of endogenous cough have been provided. |
