内皮祖细胞在成体新血管生成中的作用

内皮祖细胞是一种能定向分化为成熟内皮细胞的成体干细胞,具有很高的增殖潜能。大量的动物实验及前期临床试验都表明其参与并促进了成体新血管生成,包括血管新生和血管形成。在血管损伤后的修复及侧支血管网的建立中具有重要作用。为组织缺血性疾病提供了一条新的并且极有临床应用潜力的治疗途径。现将对内皮祖细胞在成体新血管生成的作用及可能的机制作一综述。

The Roles of Endothelial Progenitor Cells in Neovascularity

Endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) have been identified as a group of adult stem cells which can differentiate directly to the mature endothelial cells and whose potential to proliferate is high. Both the animal studies and clinical trials show that EPCs contribute to neovascularity and therefore play an important role in reparation in post-trauma vascular patients and in the formation of collateral vascellum. Research into EPCs may be a potential therapy for chronic ischemic diseases. This article reviews the roles of EPCs in neovascularity in mature creatures.
