美国肺癌防治工作对中国的启示

据《CA:A Cancer Journal for Clinicians》杂志发布的2021年美国癌症统计报告,自1991年以来,美国癌症死亡率呈持续下降趋势,至2018总体下降31%,提示因癌症死亡人数减少了约320万。尽管一些常见癌症死亡率下降趋势放缓,但由于控烟工作有效、医疗技术水平提高、癌症筛查的普及,加速推动了肺癌病死率下降,为癌症的总体死亡率下降创造了新记录。上述三方面推动因素中,值得关注的是癌症预防,尤其是控烟工作。此外,推广肺癌筛查和早期诊断,广泛应用现有的肺癌干预措施,加大对肺癌研究的投入,将加速肺癌防治的进展。

Revelation of American lung cancer prevention and control to China

According to the 2021 U.S.Cancer Statistics Report published by CA:A Cancer Journal for Clinicians,since 1991,the U.S.cancer mortality rate has continued to decline,and the overall decline in 2018 was 31%,suggesting that the number of deaths caused by cancer has decreased by approximately 320 million.Although the decline in mortality from some common cancers has slowed down,effective smoking control,improved medical technology,and extensive cancer screening have accelerated the decline in lung cancer mortality,setting a new record for the overall decline in cancer mortality.Among the above three driving factors,cancer prevention is worth paying attention to,especially tobacco control.In addition,the promotion of lung cancer screening and early diagnosis,extensive application of existing lung cancer intervention measures,and increased investment in lung cancer research will accelerate the progress of lung cancer prevention and treatment.
