| Abstract: | The second part of the investigation revealed that POAG patients manifested abnormalities in plasma viscosity, whole blood apparent viscosity and viscoelasticity, hematocrit, and mean red cell volume, with concurrent reduction in oxygen partial pressure degree of oxygen saturation, and levels of trace elements Cr, Zn, Mg, and Fe. The hemorheological factors should be taken into account in addition to intraocular pressure in the development of visual damages. |
