我国中英文化学科技期刊的影响力评价指标分析与启示

【目的】 客观评估与分析我国中英文化学科技期刊在国内国际的影响力,并据此提出中国化学科技期刊现阶段发展的建议。【方法】 以中国16种SCI收录的化学期刊为样本,采用文献计量学方法分析其2011—2020年在JCR、CJCR、CSCD-JCR 3个数据库的定量指标,包括影响因子(Impact Factor,IF)、总被引频次(Total Cites,TC)、自(被)引率或他引率等。【结果】 JCR收录期刊的IF、 TC与自引率等数据反映出近10年来我国英文化学科技期刊国际影响力明显提升,中文科技期刊国际影响力略有提升。CJCR与CSCD-JCR收录期刊的相应指标反映出近10年来中文科技期刊在国内具有高影响力的优势在减弱,2016—2020年英文化学科技期刊国内影响力明显提升。【结论】 建议重视规划中文化学科技期刊的发展、优化现有英文化学科技期刊的结构以及新创办化学二级或交叉领域英文期刊以扩大该学科期刊方阵,促进我国中英文化学科技期刊全面深入的发展以及在国内国际的影响力大幅度提升。

Analysis of the impact indexes of Chinese and English chemistry journals in China and the enlightenment

Purposes] This paper aims to objectively evaluate and analyze the domestic and international impact of Chinese and English chemistry journals in different databases in China and thereby put forward suggestions for their development. Methods] The quantitative indexes of 16 SCI chemistry journals in China, including impact factor (IF), total cites (TC), self-citing/self-cited rate, and non-self-cited rate, in Journal Citation Reports (JCR), Chinese S&T Journal Citation Reports (CJCR), and Chinese Science Citation Database JCR Annual Report (CSCD-JCR) in 2011-2020 were analyzed with the bibliometrics method. Findings] According to the IF, TC, self-citing rate, and other indexes of the journals in JCR, the international impact of English chemistry journals in China has improved significantly in the 10 years, while that of Chinese chemistry journals has increased slightly. CJCR and CSCD-JCR data suggest that the impact of Chinese chemistry journals in China has weakened in the past decade, while that of English chemistry journals has improved significantly from 2016 to 2020 in China. Conclusions] Efforts should be made to plan the development of Chinese chemistry journals, optimize the structure of English chemistry journals, and establish English journals on sub-disciplines of chemistry or interdisciplines, thereby promoting the comprehensive and in-depth development of Chinese and English chemistry journals and enhancing their domestic and international impact.
