| Abstract: | By analyzing the characteristics of the market for medical services, the paper discusses the role and functions of the government in the market for medical services, arguing that many problems in the delivery of medical services cannot be solved merely through the market mechanism. It also explores from the perspective of changing government functions ways to set up new relationships between the government and different types of hospitals. |
