The Comparison of Differential Dose Penehyclidine Hydrochloride as Premedication of Anesthesia in the Elderly Patients with Uterine Fibroids

Objective To compare the effects of differential dose penehyclidine hydrochloride as premedication of anesthesia in the elderly patients with uterine fibroids.Methods All the 120 elderly patients with uterine fibroids received epidural anesthesia during cutting the whole uterus were randomly divided into three groups(group Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ),each group including 40 patients respectively,injected intravenation with penehyclidine hydrochloride 0.005,0.010,0.020 mg/kg respectively before anesthesia introduction.The difference of HR,SBP,DBP was recorded before administration,and 10,20,30 min after administration.The VAS of thirstiness,sedation score and rate of toxicities were recorded.Results There was no significant difference of age,body weight,anesthetic time and operative time among the three groups(P>0.05).Compared with basic value,30 min after administration,the VAS of thirstiness in the three groups increased distinctly(P<0.05);compared with the group Ⅱ and the group Ⅲ,the VAS of thirstiness in the group Ⅰdecreased distinctly(P<0.05).Compared with the groupⅡ and the group Ⅲ,the incidence rate of toxicities after operation in the group Ⅰ decreased severely(P<0.05).Compared with the groupⅡ and the group Ⅲ,the sedation score of the group Ⅰ decreased severely(P<0.05).The number of HR,SBP,DBP was not significantly different(P>0.05).Conclusion It is safe to inject intravenation 0.005 mg/kg penehyclidine hydrochloride as premedication of anesthesia in the elderly patients with uterine fibroids.
