胆固醇结石与载脂蛋白B基因多态性的关系

Relationship between polymorphisms of the apolipoprotein B gene and cholesterol gallstone disease

Objective\ To investigate the relationship between the apolipoprotein (Apo)B gene polymorphic sites Xbal, EcoRI and cholesterol gallstone disease. Methods Two polymorphic sites Xbal, EcoRI of ApoB gene were selected. Using polymerase chain reaction and restriction fragment length polymorphism technique 101 patients with cholesterol gallstone and 50 controls were investigated. Results The frequency of rare allele X was significantly higher in the patients with cholesterol gallstone than in the controls. Patients with X allele had higher TC, LDL-c and ApoB levels, significantly different from those without X allele. There were no difference between the patient group and the control one in EcoRI allele. Conclusion X allele might be the susceptible gene for cholesterol gallstone disease.
